Now that's a solid effort by the team. Very good effort and attention to detail and solid d play by Connor and Drai. Impressed. Drai with a nice solid game being a fairly controlling force at both ends. Connor with an outstanding game. Some hard effort taking away time and space from the toronto puck carriers too. What a f***ing goal! I KNEW he was going to change-of-pace-walk Reilly the second he looked off for a trailer lol. Very sweet.

GG Oilers I knew Mcdavid was going to explode tonight and was due for a big game in his hometown. He’s no question the best in the game

Great to see the team put forth a couple solid efforts against 2 really good teams. This roadtrip could be a season saver if they finish it out strong with 2 very winnable games.

Everyone was solid tonight.

HUGE win, wow! They seem to be finding their groove again, maybe December was just a mini slump. And Connor is the King of the NHL, no Oilers fan should let a day go by without thanking the hockey gods for his existence.

Team still needs to learn to play with large leads, it's like they don't expect to ever be in that position so they don't know how to deal with it.

Don't know if Yamamoto can keep this up, but for now it gives us a 2 line offence (still need an upgrade on McDavid's wing), and that is night and day different from the crappy one line Oilers.

If the Oilers have 2 scoring lines they can compete with anyone.
