I guess this is something we'll just have to deal with now. Although Marchessault and Jones would be sweet I guess having Sergachev in our back pocket isn't that bad. I'm sure he'll turn into a number one defenceman eventually.

Sergachev is a fine consolation prize - not knocking him. And imagine the cap issues with those two right now as well as Point, Gourde, etc?

So I don't want to overstate it - I just think Drouin was a questionable pick *at the time*, and has just gotten worse with age. Why are we so bad at drafting in the first round?
