You remember... poorly.

It's hip surgery, actually. He got it back in early November, so you're correct on the 3 month time-line.

Thanks for the reminder, I was pretty sure about the time he was out, less certain about the type of injury. I guess Eller and Bourni's shoulder injuries were on my mind when I stated that.

Is this "The what to do in Dallas when you're losing thread?" when the Habs say enough is too much, I believe our team hates losing more than any of their fans can even comprehend. Even though I hate them losing more than most people would think is healthy, believe Dat!!!...:handclap::handclap::handclap: Go Habs Go!!!...:nod::nod::nod:

Eric Cole is a joke, used to love the guy but lost all respect for him during the lockout. He got his panties in a bunch, didn't stay in shape during the layoff expecting the season to be over, and has never been close to the player he was prior to the lockout.

He threatened to retire after the shortened season and IMO he actually did, just hasn't informed the Stars yet:

One can look at Garth Snow, GM of the NYI's and see that his guidance of their franchise has turned the corner, with many really good young prospects still to come. As they are giving the "Elite Teams" all they can handle, as they return to the playoffs with a vengeance this season, after losing the captain to injury last season. Tavares proving many pundits wrong about his eventual upside, keeps increasing every season as did former teammate PK Subban with those that panned him not too many yrs. ago.

Like he was ever going to leave all that money on the table. It was an empty threat from a loser.

Thanks. Probably safe to assume Prust moves to center tonight.

Hard to say, but there's a chance. I would much rather see Galchenyuk get a shot in the middle now that there's an injury so Bergevin can see that we don't need Desharnais. But I doubt that would happen.

With Eller out, I would love if we rolled...

Pacioretty - Desharnais - PAP
Sekac - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Andrighetto - Plekanec - Weise
Prust - Malhotra - Tangradi

But Therrien...

It was due to happen at some point. I guess better now than by game #70...

They won many games earlier that they should had lost. Now they are losing some that they should had won. Buffalo last weekend and yesterday vs Chicago were winnable games. Even the game vs Minny could had been won .

Normal for any teams thru the course of a season.

I could live with that. However, there's a better chance of Youppi playing centre than Galchenyuk.

Hoping for a win, but lets get real here... Habs probably lose in spectacular fashion and no changes are made.

Projected line up on NHL.com:

Max Pacioretty – David Desharnais – Dale Weise

Alex Galchenyuk – Tomas Plekanec – Brendan Gallagher

Sven Andrighetto - Jiri Sekac – Pierre-Alexander Parenteau

Brandon Prust – Manny Malhotra – Eric Tangradi

Huuuuh?

I've seriously stopped even questioning the nonsense that is our coaching staff. Its easier to just accept the realization that we'd be better off having a pile of rocks behind the bench.

That would so Therrien. Play a winger at centre instead of an actual centre just to troll us. I bet he reads these boards and just kills himself every day :laugh:
