The problem is it's not really an injury. Any other player would expected to be out their playing through this. Claude, for his part, seems a little less than enthusiastic about the situation:

Claude frequently speaks about different prospects' chances of making the team, but here he punts and basically says this is all Chiarelli. Doesn't seem too impressed with the severity of the injury either.
Look, I think Pastrnak was a terrific pick and will be a valuable player for the Bruins someday. But if we have to shelter him so much as to keep him out of practice for a "bruised shoulder," it's probably not his time.
