Lovie had one of the best coverage LB's (Urlacher) and decent safeties/CB's most of his time with Bears. Also Briggs used to be capable enough at pass coverage before his decline

They could afford to rush 4 and not be killed all the time

With this D if you don't get pressure none of your LB's/CB's or safeties can do anything

It was, but even he knew there were moments in the game you need to make a play.

It's impossible to make plays when your dbs can't break to the ball without falling because the field is such a huge pile of ****. Also doesn't help were effectively playing backups at every single db position

Part of me wants to see a Cutler interception at this point for the laughs.

Was that game with all those De La Puenta fumbles on snap at home? I believe it was vs Packers

Seeing Garza just botch a snap makes me wonder how much the field is to blame

That second half against sf was such an aberration. This team has no fight in them.

I would rather see a TD + Onside kick + TD

But that's just me

Haven't the Bears with Gould never recovered an onside kick? Yeah, wasn't holding my breath on all that happening. Not with 5.6 YPA Jay Cutler today. But top 10 stats rabble rabble rabble.
