I see what you mean, but Hamill was slow and not a two way treat by any mean. His skillset had an easier time translating into a top 6 role than a shutdown guy.
Edit: Hamill also played shutgun with Peter Mueller his good season and drop from 93pts to 75 without him his post draft season.
Did he? I would say Mueller was easier to play against. The year after Mueller left amongst the top 10 team scorers there is a drop of about 80.
Edit: never mind the 80 goals, I haven't learned to carry over yet.
