Is Haggs mentally ill ? Zboril is a late 1st round pick, and Boeser will be picked well before the 29th pick.

You don't like ISS? I don't see anything wrong with International Scouting Services. Haggs is a Bruins beat writer, not a draft expert

You don't know the history behind them do you?

I know NHL teams that will look at a RLR or Hockey Prospect or even McKeen's draft guide. I also know of NHL teams who will take ISS and throw it in the garbage without giving it another look.

When you buy a scouting service, because your son just happens to be available for the draft, and you are a respected scouting service (at the time) and you do everything to put your son somewhere high on a list he barely belongs on, you lose all credibility. And they've done that. On more then one occasion.

Which is why people who could use it, ignore it.

Zboril could certainly go as high as 13 IMO. I don't think he slides to far into the 20's. He's got a big and accurate shot and has an edge to his game a lot of teams really like. His only flaw is he's not in the same league as some of the other defensemen going in the first round like Hanafin, Werenski, Provorov, Chabot or Roy when it comes to skating.

As much as I'm not a fan of Haggs his draft isn't awful. I don't know if I see Edmonton going with a center at 16 unless they have one ranked well above the D there. Zboril makes a lot of sense for them at 16. Barzal seems too low but he might not buy into his recent success at the worlds, same with White for that matter.

It's certainly not the worst mock I've seen and it's nice to see someone shuffling the top-10/12 order a bit as it seems to never go as planned every year.

Red Line's Mock Draft in USA Today also had Zboril to the B's, and didn't have Boeser in the 1st. So, I guess they are mentally ill as well.

Haggs' Mock isn't worse than any other one, I just don't see Crouse at 5, nor Barzal falling to 15. If he's there at 14, I don't think the B's would pass him up. They just signed Hickman to a FA deal, so I would imagine their WHL scouts saw Barzal quite a bit.

Hard to believe draft day is this month...boy am I excited. That entire week should be great. Hopefully we see a trade or two.

I want Konecny.

me too, think the B`s will get either him or Meier whom I have seen a ton of and think fans will love...just something I loved when I saw Konecny play (small 2 game sample size) when home this year that I loved...either would be just fine in a Bruins uni:handclap:

Pretty much every list has the same top 14 (most with Knoecny at 14). Really wish Marchand didn't score that meaningless goal, or that Cam forced Chia to trade Soda for a 1st so we'd be guaranteed a top 13 pick and one of Meier/Connor.

one player that might be considered but is a bit off the board is Brock boeser. He's mostly ranked in the 19-30 range but there are some scouts extremely high on him (not just button). We'll never know without insight inside the Bruins conference room but if there are some scouts who think he's a top 10 player, there's a chance Bruins employees could feel the same

I can just sense that LA is going to get a tremendous steal at 13.

Why Brad!? Why?

The Bruin's (and every other NHL team's) draft board probably looks different than the lists that are circulating publicly right now, so worrying about Meier/Connor is pointless. The B's may have a d-man like Roy or Zboril rated in the Top 10 and be ecstatic when they are there at 14?

Or, you get the situation where someone falls. EVERY mock draft I saw in 2011 had Couturier and Dougie gone by 7...and yet, they were both still there when the Flyers picked, and the B's ended up with Hamilton.
