This is going to be an ugly one with JJ - MacDermid - Barron as the 4/5/6. Liked JJ so far as the 6/7 but here we are. Do we even have another guy worth calling up to play alongside Barron?

Definifely MacDermid-Barron bottom pairing. If it was Macdonald/Barron I would have said JJ top 4 but MacDermid is just not a dman

That’s unfair. He’s definitely an NHL caliber 4 minute per night facepuncher on the 4th line every 3rd game when you don’t have any key guys hurt so the other 11 guys can carry the load lol

Nothing wrong with thinking one’s better than the other. Both are top 3 d men in the league. Fox is legit and while I’d prefer Makar due to him being more dynamic Fox has certainly proved to be more durable which could be a deciding factor when you look back.

Quinn Hughes was the annoying one for me because it was pure delusion. I remember people actually trying to pass him off as good defensively. You’d get called a homer for thinking Makar was clearly better.
