I was thinking of sliding Bennett to wing as a 2nd-3rd line role. Could use a fresh start, but has not been performing as a #4 pick should be. His value is nowhere near as high as a few years ago and the flames want a first. Though it could be something that would interest Gorton.

For the Rangers. Not for Calgary

No, it actually doesn't for the Rangers.

They have so many forwards in the organization right now and would rather see what they have in Chytil and Andersson before trading a 1st for Sam Bennett.

So no, it doesn't make sense at all. A young defender with top-4 potential at the least makes a hell of a lot more sense.

One of the Tampa or Boston 1st round picks for Sam Bennet + (small add)
I’ll do it for Fox. Bennett is pretty much a huge disappointment. I’d rather draft someone younger with higher potential

What's the add?

Really I don't think Bennett is the player we're looking for in a rebuild here. I'm not sure where he would even play.

Hartman is a similar player with better offensive numbers and he got a late 1st+

Could see Bennett + 4th for a late 1st + 3rd. GMs love potential, and thats al that Bennett has left.

Bennett + pick(130-140) for pick(27-31) + pick(100-110)
