Here’s the challenge. Nylander has 14 games to get 7 points to equal Martin’s achievement.

He’s playing with Matthews. Has PP time and gets more minutes.

Nylander should end up at the end of the season with 39 points at least in total 54 games

so in the remaining 35 games he will have to score 36 points to at least match the 60 point pace; or at least heat up in the playoffs.

Obviously not impossible but a very challenging task for him to at least justify his holdout and his contract

if u sit out negotiations start from day 1 again
lot of us wanted willy to sit
the recipe for disaster is written all over this front the beginning
sad part us he is TRULY leafs 5th or 6th most important player getting
the second most money
its human beings in that room
friendship asside time for willy to man up admit he took an extra vacation and get back to work
this losing streak wasn't on willy but a dozen points at the right time would maybe got us a couple wins
leafs may only get s wild card spot st this rate
