Ignore that Vegas' Anaheim selection was Clayton Stoner, selected because Anaheim traded Theodore to Vegas as incentive. And even if that weren't the case, Theodore wasn't on the free agent market or waived, so no, he wasn't available for free. I don't know why you keep saying that. But keep showing how much you know about Anaheim's assets.
fair enough. the huge cost for Theodore was a team that needed to reach the cap floor to take on a one year $3m contract.
