Looked solid in the preseason. He’s a vet with experience. He’s not expected to be more than a 6-7 Defensman.


Remember the Name Devon Toews.

He can look solid for stretches because fundamentally he has good tools, but he just has no toolbox and serves up "pizzas" all the time. So when he goes on a stretch where coincidentally he makes no glaring mistakes he's capable of tricking people that he could actually be a good dman.

Anyways, don't see what the $$$ amount is but it's a shame for him that Vegas picked him in the expansion. If he was still on Vancouver Benning probably would have given him a 4 year $16 million extension.

The food at the BC press box is supposed to be quite good, he should be well fed at least. Sbisa will likely be gone by the trade deadline so he won't have to deal with the slop at the Coliseum.
