I MAY be in the minority here, but I prefer Patrick. He has a way better shot, he's much bigger. Giroux is kinda a small guy, it'd be nice to have a BIG talented center slotted behind him that can punish the opposition. If our scouts and medical team deem his injuries not as serious, he's CLEARLY the better player. GIMME Patrick.

I guess it comes down to two things, outside of NJ picking whoever:

1. Do you want a higher energy, faster spark of a player that can do the highlight reel goal and can play bigger than his size? Go for Hischier.

2. Do you want a big, hard to knock off the puck two-way center with a wicked shot and a history of success at all levels he has played at? Go for Patrick.

If both have no health concerns, Patrick is the better prospect. If we had a Geztlaf type franchise center, I'd be more lenient towards Nico. But we have a normal sized 1C, it'd be really nice to have a big body like Patrick who is equally if not more skilled than Nico and is more of a goal scorer.
