Think he did better with Hynes and Laviolette (system) was the problem.

It sounds like Carolina decided to not force it. I think it's smart to not dump cap in the middle of COVID. Granlund isn't entirely guaranteed to work out even with Aho and Turbo, and it isn't exactly like getting Pietrangelo, to say the least.

...is not a problem when you compare him to these guys:

Ryan Johansen - 8 million - 0.68 points per game (0.50 under Hynes)
Matt Duchene - 8 million - 0.64 points per game (0.37 under Hynes)

He’s awful. Even with tons of extra minutes from coach Hynes he still couldn’t do much more than when laviolette gave him less minutes. Oh how I would love to have fiala back for him lol.
