Nashville seems to do that to forwards. Maybe things will improve with a full season under Hynes, who knows.

Laviolette used Granlund 16:48 min (5th most, scored 0.38 points per game)
Hynes used Granlund team-high 19:07 min (scored 0.57 points per game)

Think he did better with Hynes and Laviolette (system) was the problem.

He could've gone somewhere else for less that was a better fit. Think this backfires as he'll get even less next year.

Ugh.....
I already tossed my granlund Preds jersey after he was such a bum. This sucks. He’s done. Ah well, life goes on. Nothing to see here.

He was that bad? (I know the numbers dont paint a pretty picture but his past performance was quite good and hard to believe he fell off so quickly).

0.57 points per game for 3.75M player...

...is not a problem when you compare him to these guys:

Ryan Johansen - 8 million - 0.68 points per game (0.50 under Hynes)
Matt Duchene - 8 million - 0.64 points per game (0.37 under Hynes)

He’s awful. Even with tons of extra minutes from coach Hynes he still couldn’t do much more than when laviolette gave him less minutes. Oh how I would love to have fiala back for him lol.

confusing all around. not too much risk on a one year deal, but poile is being exposed as a guy who never has a plan except riverboat gambling

nashville looks more lost than ever. it's going going to be a rough next 5+ years for them
