Is there a cap on what a player can sign for? For some reason after the last CBA, I thought they have salary caps on players.

I believe that the max player salary is 20% of the team's total cap at the time of the signing.

Stillman and Co. know what they have. They will get things done their way; there's no doubt in my mind.

Also there's no doubt in my mind that Tarasenko wants to be here.

Both of those things combined will cause a deal to happen with little issues IMO.
