Sorry if this is the wrong thread. But has
anyone heard anything new about Juulsen
in the last couple weeks. I had assumed a
cracked orbital bone. And it couldn"t have
been much of a fracture because he played
after that. Even if they were resting him
because of a problem with swelling, you"d
think he would be skating by now.
Assuming Laval misses the play-offs, by
the time he"s in game shape, he'll have
nowhere to play.

I think it was announced that he was suffering from blurry vision. Maybe a concussion or something. Not good, either way.

Is it 100% curable ?

We don't know. There are reports that some are worried his career is over. The Canadians haven't said this is nit true. All they've said is he's looking for solutions, is out indefinitely, and they hope he'll be back this year.

The fact that he had to get 2nd opinions and see more specialists and we still don’t have any update isn’t good new... If it was easily treatable or couldn’t cause any long term issues he would not have needed to see more specialists or they be able to give a update.

Maybe TIME is the only remedy to his injury ?

So at his TDL presser Bergevin said he's not sure if he will be able to come back this season, but he's confident he will be back 100% healthy next season

How is he so confident he'll be back 100% healthy next season?

He says nothing the doctor have said to him in his updates on Juulsen could lead him to believe otherwise

When it comes to this kind of injury, unless the doctors say he will 100% make a full recovery, I'm not 100% confident he'll recovery fully by next year, let alone at all.

Just re-read the wording: So he's confident - but not certain - he'll make a full recovery.

This was the best piece on the subject. Juulsen is facing several hurdles but we're not privy to all the details so his prognosis is up in the air.

However, it wouldn't be surprising to get an official announcement that his season is over:

I believe Dr. Recchi would have had a field day with this, however:

Good luck, Noah. Wishing you the best.

Why would Noah be taking the metro
