Like someone said, VGK got it done with Hill and won it all, so Jersey likely doesn't need that star goalie to win it all either.

This is such an ignorant comment. VGK got it done because they had by far the best defense in the league. Devils' defense is nowhere near that - at least not yet.

Also Hill got hot but was vanilla prior to the run. Correct on the D as well.

Devils are not trading nemec for a goalie

Nemec has not even played an nhl game yet and was just drafted 2nd overall. Saros is closer to free agency and getting paid. Nashville would have to add to saros if they wanted nemec. It couldn’t make any less sense for both teams.
