I mean, Chucky is a centerman and Drouin is a left winger. Coach was playing them the other way around. Besides, Galchenyuk alone deserves, like, an 87 or something. Do you see the way he plays?

Galchenyuk is a 2nd line forward. 87 is too high for that.
85 max right now but he could get better in the next couple years yet

I agree that playing Drouin at C made him look worse, but EA will probably give him a rather low overall due to the bad year.

it says in the opening screen that the ratings and rosters were ported from the last update from NHL 18.

Yeah, the rosters and ratings aren't updated at all.

Which sucks, but it is understandable that roster updating is probably one of the last things that they do prior to launch

Marner as an 88? Here are some 88's from last year: Giroux, Scheifele. Hell even wheeler/hall/draisaitl/marchand were 87's last year.

Tavares may be a 91, but I would assume he stays at the 90 he was last year, and Matthews is closer to 88 than he is to 90.
