Sure they didn't need much, but realistically neither did BOS, who then went out and acquired Orlov, Hathaway and Betruzzi as a result of injury.

Canes really needed L2 scoring, I don't like Jesse P does much in that regard.

we lost about 5 minutes last night where it froze up between the 5th and 6th G, ABOUT 3 minutes of game action... all some saw was a Sabres player frozen on their bench, no audio/video of Jack or Brick

No surprise here. Bruins had already add two warriors and an elite defenseman. Sweeney did an unbelievable job this deadline and with the Bruins just coming off of a shellacking of the Sabres without their newest acquistion or Hall and Foligno, why take a chance of disrupting this teams, mojo/chemistry. He already added the teams most glaring needs. Now they need good health and to get the job done on the ice.

A plus-plus for Sweeney at this deadline.

Sweeney said they had done some preliminary research on forwards and started to get aggressive after Hall but after Fliggy went down they had to be even more aggressive to land Bertuzzi.

I'm hoping if he is out long term, he still can travel with the team. Just his presence in the locker room would be huge even if he can't play
