I’m kind of surprised they aren’t splitting the 1st period as opposed the third period. The sun will be gone by the beginning of the second which is an advantage for the Flyers.

this might have been said already but why not put a canopy over the ice? i know they want the nice visuals but wouldnt that at least keep the ice better?

I just turned this game on and i love it. Ice conditions are not NHL standard but it looks cold and crisp. Growing up in the Sault you dreamed for ice like this. No snow, no slush, no compacted snow from heavy equipment removing snow. Looks like a bunch of grown men playing shinny but getting paid.

This game is going to be fugly. Flyers missing the covid crew. Bruins now missing 4 of their top 6 D with Lauzon getting injured early.
