They should keep an intimate outdoor game in the rotation every few seasons. Having a game on that lake in Alberta, I think, would be cool and I'm sure there's other scenic locations they could do. Maybe not every season to keep it more special but once every few seasons.

Pretty good work on the PK by Vegas. Would be huge if they could kill it in its entirety at the start of the second. They were starting to wake up before the penalties. Need the momentum back.

Apparently, the great scenery doesn't improve the ice surface.

Bright sunshine and the heat generated from it can melt/cause issues with ice, especially a skating surface.

Edit duly noted, Lake Tahoe is almost as far geographically north as Kansas City, and Kansas City has had some real snowstorms over the years.

It's not the latitude so much as it's the elevation.

No I don't. Many of my aunts and uncles who are were Nordiques fans do wear them though.
