I like Taylor Hall, regardless of my reserves about him, but yeah I’m not sure why everyone is losing their minds with Sweeney. Is he someone that can’t land the big target or close the deal? I don’t know, maybe not. I did ask myself that question, that was until I saw the terms. One-year deal? Huh?
However, Hall didn’t choose Colorado, Toronto, Tampa or even a team like New York or Montreal, he chose the Buffalo Sabres. Clearly being on a contending team right now wasn’t part of his plan. Nothing you can do about it.
