I almost prefer Kakko just because of his name. But I would love to have a bullish winger to complement Hall on that top line.

Hall-Nico-Kakko just sounds so fun to me.

Right I'm just saying, Hughes is a much greater prospect than Patrick. We'd be extremely fortunate to have Hughes/Nico 1-2 center depth.

I think Patrick #1 had to do with the talent that was around him the previous year or two and some Canadian bias, but that's a whole different thing.

But overall that was not viewed as a strong top heavy draft class. Hischier did have the late uptick but people that saw him were fairly convinced he was the more developed, NHL ready, complete player. And they were right. Hischier was the safer guy going forward too

Hughes blows both of them away to be honest. As does Kappo. Hughes will have 90+ point seasons
