I picked the Leafs to make the finals cuz I figured I'll be the only one who's right if they get there.

Ain't that the truth.

But I don't trust the Laffs to be able to even get out of the first round.

The bolts may not be what they were in 2018 but they'll be fresh for at least Round 1 and I think with Vasilevski in net, they will once again deny the Laffs from getting past the first round yet again.

Yeah my brain says the Leafs are clearly the better team this year, and with Matthews/Marner/Tavares/Nylander firing on all cylinders, this should be the season where they put a run together. But my heart knows they're gonna choke. Went with brain over heart for the bracket, we'll see how it goes.

Good lord I can’t believe how much effort I put into getting my terrible bracket in.

I didn’t even think about how many goals were scored in the finals, I just threw a number in there because it was the first time that came up after I entered the bracket. (After at least 6 tries.)

How is everyones bracket looking? Got VGK and DAL correct, but also lost sure points in CAR. Still chance for full points from NJ, TOR and EDM.

I also chose Bruins to sweep the Panthers. About that..

Just seems so out there as a pick, What was your reasoning behind picking the panthers over the Bruins? Did you think they were really good or was this a go big or go home type pick?

I didn’t do the bracket. Like I said, I never have before.

But I got 5 of the 8 series winners right. I was dead accurate on both our series, the Winnipeg/Vegas series and LA/Edmonton down to the exact games played. I might have picked Dallas over Minnesota in 6. Can’t remember if I picked that to go 6 or 7, but definitely picked Dallas to win.

Two of my three blemishes were the obvious in Florida and Seattle. I think most people struck out on those.

The Islanders over the Canes in 7 was not one of my prouder moments. Thought Carolina would get Sorokin’d.

I didn’t put a ton of effort in to this but I’m really kicking myself for inexplicably picking the Jets.

I regretted pretty much immediately and now that some of my reached worked out I wish I didn’t screw that up.

I would have never picked Seattle though.
