Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it’s wrong.

Even with the break because of COVID all of the NHL teams played anywhere from 68-71 games. Cut a little bit short but teams still played more somewhere around 75-80 percent of their games, in comparasion MLB teams played roughly 40% of their schedule games. There is no asterick to this year's Stanley Cup winner, Tampa Bay. MLB's champ, to me, feels like an asterick should be used but not the NHL Champ. Tampa Bay earned it.

Jon Cooper continues to be a hell of a story. Public defender coaching high school hockey. Takes a Junior B job...wins national title. Promoted to the NAHL (Junior A), wins title. Promoted to the USHL...wins title. Gets AHL opportunity...wins title. Gets promoted to his NHL club...wins title. Genuine, great person as well.

Funny side note is Pat Maroon played for him in the NAHL and they won together there, so this has to be an added coolness factor for the two of them.

Even the Coleman goal had similarity to Kane's insurance goal. That's very eerie.

Both two nothing games. Goals all look similar. TB really did learn their lesson from the last time they were in this spot. Incredible

I said this the other night, but is there a single forward on either of these teams that you can say Strome and DeBrincat work harder/play more aggressively than?

Not sure why you only singled them out, what about Nylander, and Kane?

Nylander is in that camp for sure, but DeBrincat and Strome play larger roles.

Kane I left out because he’s a game changing talent without playing a hard style. Do I wish he would play harder and more aggressively? Absolutely. But he’s a rare talent who can basically float and take over a game. Since Kane does that, you can’t have multiple other guys in your lineup playing the same way.

No other young player should be trying to copy what Kane does.
