Who knows. Could be any of them.So we win Lafreniere on August 10th
just kidding. We prepare for.... probably Boston
I hope this doesn't mean we occupy the 2pm time slot.
Also, what's up with the B2Bs?
The previously released list of start dates said qualifying round begins July 30th, which would've avoided B2Bs completely.
Unless they put the Leafs at the earliest slot cause they know it will draw a big audience anyway.I doubt the league is going to put a team like the Leafs on at 2pm
They need every eyeball possible watching these games so I'd imagine the biggest drawing teams are going to get the most advantageous start times
Last year for Game 6 against Boston remember how that was a 3:00 PM start time because of NBC.I doubt the league is going to put a team like the Leafs on at 2pm

I agree because Boston did have some advantage since they played more afternoon games compared to Toronto.I know it’s a loser excuse but I knew we were losing that game because of the start time. If you compare the amount if afternoon games both teams have played in the last 5 years it’s laughable.
Any word on the time slot for our games? I assume 8pm for them all.
I would be really surprised if Leafs don't get prime time, so the 8 PM slot, or at the very least 6:30 slot.I doubt the league is going to put a team like the Leafs on at 2pm

Toronto isn't scheduled to play on the same day Montreal is supposed to play, so that should make things easier from the Rogers point of view when it comes to the start times.I would be really surprised if Leafs don't get prime time, so the 8 PM slot, or at the very least 6:30 slot.
There is no 4 or 7 slot. If the Bruins post is correct, the Leafs would then get 6:30 or the 8 PM slot. Unless the league does something strange, and gives them 2 PM.FWIW the Bruins board has a post that Bruins- Flyers on Aug 2 goes off at noon on NBC. So my guess is the Leafs - CBJ would be at 4 or 7.
