Hockey.
I think you'll change your answer about 2 months into this season
Hockey.
Eastside Hockey Manager is as good as it gets. Not perfect, but no game will be.
EHM in their beta stage is 100x better of a GM manager type thing then EA's GM Mode ever will be.
Oh sweet, so I found EHM early access for $16. I had NO IDEA they actually had a new version, can't wait
Was by far, the best game in the late 2000s.
Exactly. It's why I like NBA 2k15 ratings so much. Right now, there are only 4 players above 90 ratings, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Tim Duncan. In the NHL trailer, I saw like 15 more with 90 + ratings. If it was up to me, these would be the Leafs ratings.
90 + (Franchise players)
85-89 (Elite Players/Goaltenders)
80-84 (Typical First Liners/Pairings/Starting Goaltenders)
70-79 (Second Liners/Pairings/1B Goaltender)
60-69 (Third Liners/Pairings/Backups)
50-59 (Fourth Liners/Extra Dman/Journeyman Goaltender)
1-49 (Everyone else)
Goaltender:
Jonathan Bernier - 82
James Reimer - 72
Defenseman:
Morgan Rielly - 72
Dion Phaneuf - 80
Jake Gardiner - 75
Roman Polak - 70
Stephen Robidas - 62
Martin Marincin - 60
Matt Hunwick - 55
Forwards:
James Van Riemsdyk - 82
Tyler Bozak - 73
Joffrey Lupul - 75
Nazem Kadri - 78
Nathan Horton - 75
Daniel Winnik - 68
Shawn Matthias - 65
Leo Komarov - 67
Nick Spaling - 61
PA. Parenteau - 70
Richard Panik - 65
Peter Holland - 65
The only problem here is that some people don't like the ratings that low for some players and I can see some changing them to the 80s, anyways.
why is everyone so high?
Rielly 87, 2 thumbs up. Phaneuf should be like 82-83
Legit loling at Rielly being an 87. Both Gardiner and Phaneuf are currently better.
this is such arbitrary b.s
NBA ratings are so different because an NBA player like Lebron can make a greater impact on the team then someone like Ovechkin or Crosby.
you're comparing apples and rocks
Ratings are always a joke, in all hockey managers. The whole NHL is basically between a 75-90, which is insane.
It's always SO hard to trade for draft picks, like they are so golden, yet the funny part, no way in hell you get #1 OVA for kessel.... Just wait for #1 OVA to be drafted, and then Kessel will get him.... It's pretty dumb and way too unrealistic still, all manager games are the same.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
The entire forward group is over 80?
James Van Riemsdyk - 88
Tyler Bozak - 86
Joffrey Lupul - 86
Nazem Kadri - 86
Nathan Horton - 85
Daniel Winnik - 84
Shawn Matthias - 84
Leo Komarov - 83
Nick Spaling - 83
PA. Parenteau - 82
Richard Panik - 82
Peter Holland - 80
why is everyone so high?
It still has some issues, some irregularities on how the draft is handled later on and some weird scoring results overall, but it's kind of far ahead of FHM and EA.
not only that, but the 86 doesn't explain to you how he's built... i can assure you he's healthy for 25% of the season.I'm curious as to why some (not necessarily here, but in the EA Board) are flabbergasted that Lupul is an 86.
That's a top 6 forward, which Lupul is. Lupul just gets injured often, which is likely reflected by his durability rating.
People look to much at overalls anyway. It's more about individual statistics.

So GM trailer came out and they decided to use Toronto as an example. They released their ratings so I decided to share some of them.

What's the difference between 86 and 83?
How is it even remotely possible that this list has omitted our two best off season acquisitions!?Those lists are missing Arcobello and Beck. Anyone have their Ovr's?
Nice, I also enjoyed the overrated Leafs in NHL 15. Trading 87 overall Bozak + a 1st 5 years for now or something for a young star
