Can someone please list the potentials and overalls and if they are in the game for;

Kulikov, Huberdeau, Markstrom, Gudbranson, Q. Howden, Bjudstad, D. Shore, V. Trocheck, C. Robak, J. McFarland, A. Petrovic, J. Hazen.

here are some of them, Bjugstad will be playing in the NCAA so he won't be in the game

Can someone explain the potential system? Is it stars for max potential and colours is for how likely they'll reach it? Also, what is the rough amount of stars for a player to be a 1stliner/2ndliner/3rdliner??

I'll chime in with my limited knowledge...I know 5 stars is the max...I believe...Red? is unlikely to reach it? I think theres Red/Green/Yellow? Most older 1st liners won't have high potential...Mostly the younger guys have it, and will be likely to reach it..

I'll let someone with more knowledge chime in, I totally forget how it works even after watching the videos..Anyone?

I think 3 stars is a bit higher since Smith is 3 stars and he's already 77.

Well EASHL is unplayable right now due to the framerate issue.

Every other mode works fine. EA doesn't know why it's happening and they've basically got 3 days to fix it.

unplayable ? I wouldn't say that unless your getting it way worse than I am.

Some games are worse than others. I've played some where it would take a good 2 seconds to get your guy moving in the right direction and nobody could make a pass or play because everyone was trying to fight the framerate.

Huh...Did you read this somewhere? Or taking an educational guess...Because it sounds about right when you think about it...Last year was letters right? So like 4.5 would be like B+?

The rating system was odd last year in that b+/a+ didn't exist, A- would be a 4.5

This is just a guess but what i've seen from other people playing it online it's about right.

The potential system changed so that a player will always keep the same rating (unless they are regressing because of age?). The colour indicates how likely/close a player is to their potential.

Although I'm reading that people on 360 are having problems too.

PS3 seems to be the King of frame rate issues...especially on NHL..I've had 0 issues on EASHL on 360...or any mode

It doesn't make any sense because all of the other modes are fine.

Offline, online versus, etc.

So it's not a PS3 hardware issue imo, and it's not a network lag issue, which makes it all the more puzzling.

Every year NHL on PS3 has ran on a lower frame rate than 360 for some reason...that has to affect online play big time

It is smoother on 360 no doubt, but the framerate has never been an observable issue on PS3 until this year.

The fact you said its smoother on 360 you gain my respect. Not many PS3 users will give 360 anything.

I know a few PS3 users who have complained for years about it running at like 30FPS on PS3 and its like been 60FPS on 360 since like 07 or 08 (I've even seen a few articles on it and for other games as well that are shared between consoles) Some are better on 360, Some better on PS3, not NHL from what I've heard/read tho...its pretty unacceptable...Every year people complain about the EASHL framerate/lag problems on PS3...

Its pretty disappointing on all accounts, if I was a PS3 owner I would be extremely upset/furious. The amount we pay for consoles/games and stuff...there shouldn't be any ******* issues..its unreal.

I hope they hash that out for you, thats just unacceptable on all accounts. It may just be an early release issue (hopefully)

Even tho I haven't asked, and have early release. Thanks for all the guys/gals out there who are answering everyone's overalls/prospect questions..You definitely could ignore everyone and not waste your playing time doing it..I know if I didn't have the early release myself I'd highly appreciate that. The people who are helping those out are saving all of us time so we don't have to look ourselves. Appreciated.

And people who are asking, Check this thread about halfway through for like top prospect overalls and such because most have been answered since a lot of people got the early release. I have the max limit per page for posts, I know some people don't so..but about halfway through most people started getting early release and people starting asking about prospects and overalls...so try to skim through before you ask..I also posted the Eastern/Western teams overalls (no prospects or specific ratings) just team overalls a page or so back for anyone interested.
