Mackinnon and Shinkaruk (sp?) turn out pretty good. Progression can be a bit random, though. Sometimes they take a few years before they take off.

I decided to start over since I won the cup 2 of the first 3 years, plus I wanted to fix the rosters so NYI, COL, and DAL didn't have contracts artificially inflated.

Anyone else notice European prospects going to FA? I starte a Be a GM and Armia and Teravainen both got signed by Phoenix.

Guys I skipped 12 cause I thought the Beagm sucked and the game was awful...

Money's tight for me only get 3 or 4 games per year...

Is it worth it to shell out 80$ for the game ?

And is it 80$ CDN ?

Mike Weber wanted $4.75 on a short term deal in the game

Tyler Ennis wanted $6.9 after a 60 point season

Still pretty unrealistic and a waste of time so ill probabally just stick to playing games

I ended up signing them then trading them to their respective teams for late picks

Had a thriller against St. Louis on the road. Scoreless through the first 57 minutes until Perron put one past Emery. Cycle through my lines until I end up with my 4th line on the ice with my goaltender on the bench. Frolik picks up a rebound from the point and backhands it past Halak to tie it up with 20 seconds left and send it to OT. Toews cuts through the slot on my first possession of the period, wrists one off of Halak's shoulder and in.

Pretty damn good so far.

I think, overall, Calgary is the worst in those regards; I don't see a team with terrible roster players AND terrible prospect pool. (Atleast Columbus has Murray).

Ryan Murray is a stud, he starts as a 60, but after one season in the CHL he became an 80.

Also the first 3 picks in the 2014 draft are ridiculous, ones a goalie with 5 star potential and ones a LW whose an 82 overall to start.

Simmed through season 1 with the Blues, wanted to get some GM points to upgrade medical, since injuries seem to happen all the time. Managed to put it up two levels, we'll see how that works.

Also...got Grigorenko 23rd overall and Mackinnon in the second round.... why are they in the draft with Yakupov and that class?
