Badass forwards and defense, but that is some pretty weak goaltending until Stone develops next season or the one after. How's your cap situation going? Is the team sustainable for a few years at current state? If so, that may be a multi-cup team right there.

Just finished the 2016-2017 season and had a rookie on my team Abraham Beckett score 58 goals and 100 points in his rookie year. He won the Hart, the Calder, the Ted Lindsay, and the Maurice Richard. :amazed:

His whole line was on fire all year long, it was him, Krejci, who put up 51 assists and 76 points, and then the 1st overall pick from a couple years ago, Radek Petruzalek, who put up 28 goals and 81 points and all of them had a +/- over 40.

My rookie who had 58 goals went up from an 81 to an 88 the next season. Then he had a decent season, 40 goals and 69 points, and after the year he dropped from an 88 to an 84!

It would be smartest to glue him to your first line, for everything (even strength, PP, PK, etc.)

Yea that would be best, but I'm in an all sim league that sims a month at a time. And after even one injury best lines takes over and he gets put onto 3rd line, second at best, which is why I asked. Given this I think sticking Bartschi in the minors so he would get top line minutes might be best?

Ah, there is the snag:laugh:. Seemed too obvious before! In that case, go with your gut. I think 2nd/3rd line minutes are just important for a young player as minors would be, but it kind of varies everytime. It is out of your control. Again, go with your gut.

I won't be able to keep everyone because I already know I have Rielly and Murray contracts coming up next year. Right now I have 2.5mil. I also have another 4.5 star green goalie in the AHL.
