Ya in my 12 team ppr league, my running backs blow. I have CJ Spiller, Giovanni Bernard, Bryce Brown, Danny Woodhead. I do have RG3 and Peyton Manning tho I'm hoping a few weeks in ill be able to upgrade my RB position by trading one of them. I also think Bernard will be very good.

Exact same position I am in. Hope someone's QB goes down and I can deal RG3.

not too bad, not overly great though

not sure why you'd need 3 defenses lol

As a Fins fan, do you realistically think Miller is going to break out this year?

I almost want to start him this week over McFadden.

I think Miller will get 1,000 yards and 6 TD this year. McFadden is the better player but you never know when he will tweak something and get hurt. hes never played a full season in his career.

As for this week, its tough. I don't think Cleveland or Indy particularly have a good defense.

That is a toss up imo. McFadden will probably suffer from the Raiders being behind all game, the O-Line being a total mess right now and Pryor running a lot himself. On the other hand he is more talented and at least currently not injured. If it's a PPR league or you need a lot of points because you expect a hard matchup go with RunDMc, otherwise go with Miller even if he is facing a slightly tougher run D this week. Miller will probably be the safer option for most weeks.

My buddy is in a keeper league and has a raging hard on for Julio Jones. So last night I said let's go 100 cash on who has more receiving yards this year: Julio or Megatron. Bet is on....

Right now, I'm rolling with Miller. I just have a feeling that most defenses are going to zero in on McFadden and force Pryor to beat them. Whereas the Dolphins at least have some weapons to keep defenses on their toes and give Miller some space to run.

Ugh, we will see.

thing with Julio is he also has Roddy White and Gonzo there who will take up targets

in Detroit, its the Megatron show, with Reggie Bush in a supporting role and thats...it.

I think Rodgers is good depth for him because I am not convinced Jackson stays healthy and Rodgers should get work either way. Not a fan of Mendenhall though. I'd go fishing for sleepers at WR if I was him as that is a steep drop off. Also if it is a one TE league I see no reason to carry 3 TEs and Finley disappoints a lot.

Alright I'll throw my hat into the ring. I've already got a couple dilemmas for this week at 2nd RB, Tight End, and 3rd WR. PPR, 8 Team league.

QB: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck

WR: Demaryius Thomas, Reggie Wayne, Mike Wallace, James Jones, Emmanuel Sanders

RB: LeSean McCoy, Darren Sproles, David Wilson, Shane Vereen

TE: JerMichael Finley, Kyle Rudolph

K: Blair Walsh

Def: New England

I know Sproles is great in a PPR format but I'm leaning towards Wilson this week because of the amount of carries hes going to be getting for at least the first half of the year. Wallace or Jones is stumping me. I'm seeing a lot of people down on Wallace so far. GB has so many targets so Jones might be risky. Finley or Rudolph is another tough one. Personally, I think Finley is going to have a big year but this isn't a great matchup this week. Rudolph against Detroit might be a safer play.

Wilson is a must start until the Giants get him a backup. He's gonna get the yeoman's workload through October. You've got 4 solid backs which is a good problem to have.

He doesn't have a second RB I'd be comfortable putting out in any situation. That is not a good thing at all.

I personally never liked Finley and avoid him if possible so I'd go Rudolph.

I am not sure about Wilson right now either. I am not feeling warm and fuzzy about the Giants O-line right now.

I think Lacey has potential to be a good RB for the Packers and a good 2nd option, and this week considering how bad the Saints D is Jacquizz should be decent. Definitely not the best options for 2nd starters, but I've seen worse. Mendenhall is dead space though.

I took Jones and steered way clear of Finley. He always looks good coming into the season then just lets me down. He was on the option year last season and still dropped more balls than he caught... but with this being a big contract year for him maybe he'll get his head screwed on tight. Week 1 vs. SF if you had to start one of them I'd go Finley because of the short/fast plays they'll be using rather than stretching the field with bombs to Jones. Just my gut feel...

Yea, thats what I'm thinking. A lot of people are saying hes a huge breakout candidate for this year. I like Sproles but the fact that he doesn't amass a ton of rush yards and New Orleans has 2 other backs is scaring me from him. Even if it is a PPR league I'm not keen on starting an RB just because of the passes he catches.

Yea, Finley physically is pretty much unstoppable but the guy can't seem to ever put it together. The contract year stuff has been in the back of my mind all offseason. If he was ever to put it all together, this would it. The fact that it sounds like there really making him a huge part of the offense makes me think he might break out but they were talking about that same stuff last year.
