The 9ers cut this guy....

Someone will give him a chance on this play alone

We also cut our long snapper of 13 yrs...that's gonna bite us in the ass at some point.

Whoever #95 is is one of the biggest football players I've ever seen.

I wouldn't.

It would be just like the Jets not to do what you expect them to do.

You can bet against them against New England and the rest but I think they have a decent shot at beating the Bucs.

If I only saw five minutes of Geno Smith against the Giants I'd still have the willies, never mind the whole rest of the game. Plus you know they'll be stoked with Schiano and Revis coming back to Jersey.

Tampa really isn't that good so it wouldn't completely shock me if NYJ pulled one out of there ***** but I just don't see how there scoring enough points especially with that tour de force they have at QB. I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn is in during the 2nd half of that one.

The Jets could win a 13-10 turnover fest I suppose since Rex is at least back to being d-coordinator (more or less), but that'll still give the Bucs' D a lot of fantasy points on turnovers

Only way the Jets win is if Freeman hands them the game. Tampa's defense is a safe fantasy play.

Only way Quinn plays is an injury emergency. No way you send out a QB who's had the playbook for a week out in a game, especially one with Clausen's history. And I think Tampa will surprise you this week if you don't think they're that good

I just picked up Tampa's D thanks to this hahahaha

I go with a strategy where I won't use a higher pick on a D and I rotate out my D throughout the season for whoever has a good matchup or hot hand on the waiver wire. Tampa 2nd to last pick for the reason you stated above.

For any rationale reason? Or is this because of the unfounded optimism that all too many get from winning the 4th pre-season game (which I'll never understand).

Because the Bucs aren't all that.

They haven't been much of an offensive juggernaught even during their SB year. And that situation won't change this year either....

I'm just apprehensive of what will happen to Geno when he goes out there, though.....

Picking up Quinn suggests to me that Sanchez's injury is worse than we have been told so far.

Was my initial reaction. Sanchez is hurt and they don't trust Geno at all. The trash fire that is the Jet's QB situation continues.

Also finished my last fantasy draft Sunday. God does Yahoo have awful rankings. Had guys all over the place.

I just realized that Stafford is on the cover of Madden. Now I am freaking out that I picked him to start at QB. Is a long year of Andy Dalton in my future now?

Was surprised how down Yahoo was on guys like Lynch, and Fitz. Not to mention the two WRs in Denver (Welker and Decker).

Palmer is good enough to get Fitz back to being a top WR in the league, I have no doubts that Peyton will spread the ball around in Denver either. Also lots of guys are sleeping on Brandon Myers at TE. Guy was good in Oakland of all places, he is going to become a favorite for Eli as the season goes on. Giants system is built on TEs catching the football.

I've got a 16-team PPR draft tonight, you can keep anywhere from 4-6 players and all of the keepers are at the top of the draft (meaning if you keep four players your draft starts in the 5th round with the best non-kept players and rookies). Right now my sure keepers are Peyton, Ridley, Cruz and Roddy White. You start only one RB and one Flex (RB/WR/TE) along with two WR's.

My other quasi-candidates are Daryl Richardson, Vincent Brown and Josh Gordon. Should I keep two of these guys? One, none? I have the third draft pick so odds are I'll get a high pick at least in the fifth round if I keep nobody from that list.

Jets to announce the health of Sanchez today, I think he will be out 4-6 weeks.

I kind of hate my fantasy team. Well, at least my running backs.

QBs: P. Manning, RG3
RBs: Steven Jackson, McFadden, Lamar Miller, Vick Ballard, Mikel Leshoure
WRs: Roddy White, James Jones, Tavon Austin, Emmanuel Sanders, Lance Moore, Justin Blackmon
TEs: Witten, Rudolph
K: Prater
D: Patriots

Not sure what to think. The way they score our league, QBs are huge which is why I took Manning in the first round, but I really need to bank on Jackson having a big year for Atlanta and Miller breaking out for Miami.

I feel ya on the running backs, we had our auction draft Sunday and woof outside Martin.

QB: P. Manning, Wheeden
RB: Martin, Mendenhall, Pierce, Pead, Redman
WR: Randall Cobb, Larry Fitzgerald, Malcolm Floyd, Sidney Rice, Denarius Moore, James Jones
TE: Graham, Olsen
K: Tucker
D: Cards, Redskins

We have flex position and yards are heavily scored and all TD's 4 pts at all positions. Manning should rack up a ton of yardage this year with the quick calls at the line offense they are running.

Ya in my 12 team ppr league, my running backs blow. I have CJ Spiller, Giovanni Bernard, Bryce Brown, Danny Woodhead. I do have RG3 and Peyton Manning tho I'm hoping a few weeks in ill be able to upgrade my RB position by trading one of them. I also think Bernard will be very good.
