Washington has a puncher's chance of winning out with that schedule.

Their defense is definitely up to the task of slowing Wilson down and those other two games are cupcakes.

Kinda shits all over the memes but hey good on them for getting it together. Between Ron Rivera's battle with cancer and Alex Smith coming back from being nearly dead they're a hard team to cheer against

Saints really need to take care of their shit on Christmas. They need to be able to rest people Week 17 if they so choose.

West can be decided next Sunday when Rams visit Seahawks. Seattle wins they win the west. If they can’t catch the Packers for first then they can rest guys as they will be either 2/3. Would get any of Rams, Bucs, Cardinals or Bears. Their bye was back in week 6.

Being down to one team doing the chasing (Chicago) leaves this pretty simple. Chicago has strong tiebreakers, so Arizona/Tampa Bay need to stay ahead of them. The Rams can only miss the playoffs in the case of a 3 way tie between ARI/LA/CHI at 9-7 (which actually plays as ARI winning the H2H tiebreaker with LA and CHI winning the H2H tiebreaker with ARI), because otherwise LA's H2H win over Chicago comes into play. The NFC East is a little sloppier, but Washington maintains a fairly strong advantage for now, as only a loss to CAR and a NYG win over BAL takes away WSH's power to control their own destiny in week 17.

8. Chicago - 7-7
9. Minnesota - 6-8 (Holds Common Opponents tiebreaker over DET)
11. Dallas - 5-9 (Leads H2H tiebreaker with NYG) (Eliminated from wild card contention)
12. NY Giants- 5-9 (Eliminated from wild card contention)
13. Philadelphia - 4-9-1 (Eliminated from wild card contention)

Bears move into final playoff spot with win

Control own fate going into final showdown with Packers
GB has to play to win week 17 to secure the bye. So that’s going to be a tough game for Chicago.

AZ is up against LAR. Rams need to win or need a Chicago loss to secure a spot.

Tie free scenarios next week IF GB Wins Tonight

NFC2020_v2.png

If GB loses tonight than the 6th line there goes 1. NO, 2 GB, 3. SEA rather than what's listed. That's the only difference

Crazy couple weeks for the Rams. They only needed to beat the Jets 2 weeks ago to make it in and failed. Then they had 3 ways to make it in this week and all went wrong. Now they only have 2 more chances(win/tie or CHI loss/tie) or they're done.

Does anyone besides Washington even want to win the East at this point? The higher draft pick vs a 1 and done beat down seems better for the other three teams.

Definitely for the Giants. They need to replace Jones.

And likely no Goff next week. And if he plays, he'll be very hampered (the Goff haters say it won't change much, lol).

Add in the Bears as well. This is proof that sometimes less is better when it comes to the playoffs.

Bears could beat the Saints. Played them close earlier in the year and the offense is much better now.

I agree though, new format is stupid, they don't deserve to be there, and only having 1 bye, which will often come down to an arbitrary tiebreak, is too big an advantage.

Rams.... how quickly things can change. All looking like roses when McVay arrived. Turned Goff around. Fun team with Gurley.

after both Gurley and Goff get paid Gurley is hurt and never the same and Goff shows how limited he is.

now you have the chargers with a legit QB in Herbert playing in your stadium that by the way is like way way over the original budget.

If Bucs beat Atlanta, they will finish #5 and play against Washington, Dallas or Giants. LOL.
