SEE! Hobart's pure liberal arts education WORKS! You can move around into different slots and not skip a beat! Pierre leaps to the front of his 1983 graduation class!

Turner is saved from making a major mistake.

I'd argue it was clear that Turner/ESPN wasn't going to come close to making that "mistake." and as a result McGuire took a job that was available to him (maybe even done as a favor considering his relationships there).

I don't know who to feel more sorry for: Seattle fans for being stuck with two ex-Leaf coaches, or Ottawa fans for being stuck with McGuire.

Mostly personal I guess. Aside from his poor coaching record and the Hartford/Edmonton scandal, I found him a not particularly good analyst, and on TSN he was always mentioning his 'playing career', even though the farthest he ever got was one training camp with one of the worst teams in the league.

I have an in-law who's a Sens' fan, and his response was "not that a**hole again".

Glad to see Kucherov's ribs are holding up from all that hard partying and drinking while going shirtless all over the TB. :sarcasm:

Joe Smith is such a TB PR tool.

Amazing that there wasn't so much as a bruise or even a little redness around his ribs visible when he went shirtless during his sloppy postgame media session.
Amazing isn't it? Nothing, no bandage, no redness, no shirt. His apparent cracked rib which he himself said was nothing wrong with him is certainly not bothering him while he parties like it is 1999. Apparently reporter Joe Smith knows better.

I broke a rib playing hockey when I was in my 20s. I was out of work for 26 days.

Man whatever they were shooting up Kuch with was some kind of miracle drug.

What's the Hartford/Edmonton scandal?

Wasn’t he our back end coach for a while during the Cappy or Gordon era?
Yep, he's a career loser in the coaching ranks so he should fit in well with the Laffs.
