Pretty much. There is zero reason for them to push him at all. I wouldn't be shocked if they shut him down for the season (but I'm sure he'll want to play when able).

He's not even listed as "day to day" as he was while the Canes were still in the hunt, he's now listed as "Week to week" on the Canes website.

He really wasn't even close to 100% when he played. He was slow and tentative. We've been told it's an ankle injury so our "guess" is that he gave it a try to see if he could "gut it out", but couldn't so they shut him down.

He's got a high ankle sprain just like Kyle Turris. At least that's what I assume.
