Was just thinking about the Drai-McD combo. Has it even been tried yet??

Not really since camp. Drai was forced as a C though. I'd like to see it now that we have all 3 C's back. If I recall he played well on the RW utilizing his back hand passing.

The coaching staff on this team seem to just ignore the past until they've exhausted all other avenues though.

Maroon-McDavid-Yak opens up so many other skilled players for secondary scoring..
This group should not be getting shut out.

Hall-RNH-Draisatil needs to be put together ASAP as well..

Once Pouliot returns Drai slides down the middle and Eberle goes up with Hall-RNH..

Pouliot-Draisiatl-Kassian would be a bulky 3rd line... Hall-Nuge-Ebs would be the skill line... Maroon-McD-Yak would be top line..
Each player plays its natural role.

There is not one scenario where Letestu is the top line centre when we have RNH, McDavid and Drai all healthy. None. :help:

I wouldnt call that a top line anyway.. more like 3rd line

Kassian - Nuge - Drai would be the top line.. McDavid and co the 2nd.

Please dont counter with "No way Kassian is on the top line when you have 4 better wingers"

I wanna see

Maroon Mcdavid Eberle

Hall RNH Drai

as the top two lines and the foundations of the two power play units.

I'd really like to see them back together, McLellan said they were the teams best forward pair after TC. I think he'd like to see them together but it's more of a priority to see the team with 3 offensive centers first. It's a shame Lander's had such a rough season, he'd have given the team some flexibility here.

I want to see this combo again:

Hall - Nuge - Drai

Theforefore, by default it should be

Maroon- MCD - Eberle

Load up the top 2 lines and give the bottom 2 lines less minutes.

As odd as it sounds, I wouldn't mind seeing Hall-RNH-Eberle being reunited again, especially on the PP. Partly because we know those three work well together when up a man, but also because I really want to see McDavid and Draisaitl working together on the ice.

Draisaitl-McDavid-Kassian/Maroon/Yakupov
Hall-RNH-Eberle
Maroon/Yakupov-Letestu-Kassian/Yakupov
Hendricks-Korpikoski-Pakarinen

PP units
Eberle-RNH-Maroon
Clendening-Hall
**just recreate the old Eberle-Horcoff-Hall, Potter-RNH setup

Kassian-Draisaitl-Yakupov
Sekera/Oesterle-McDavid

Hall Nuge Ebs has worked quite well for the better part of 4 seasons.
Yak McDavid Drai scored in their 25seconds together at the start of the season.
