All things considered, I thought that period was pretty boring. Definitely expecting more intensity from the Jets.

Their D really loves giving away the puck in their own zone. Difference is forwards are backchecking and not blowing the zone once their D has possession.

2 high quality chances by Perry. 4th line playing well again.

All the pressure is on the Jets. Habs just need to be patient.

Unless someone is new to the playoffs, everyone should know this isn't over by a long shot.

I give more of an extreme example. The habs went 2-3 when they lost carey price in 2014 against the Rangers. They still pushed the series deep despite going from peak price to an untested 3rd goalie.

In this case, scheifele is a great player, but they have depth to help mitigate some of that loss at center, something the habs didn't have when price went down, yet even the habs pushed that series deep.

People were getting cocky.

Not much can be done seeing how well the fourth line is playing. But both he and Anderson are horrible right now.

Honestly swapping them might actually help. Kotkaniemi would need a scoring option on his line (and they don't really need the fast forecheck with Byron and him) and Anderson can just bang bodies and skate next to Suzuki.

Nothing ideal, but the current state is dreadful for both lines.

Had treatment before the play offs, injured for sure. Just the way he moves around the ice is pretty telling. He’s a player that rarely cheats and always think defence but since the beginning of the playoffs he doesn’t move his feet a lot.
