Free agency if it wasn't already.

I agree with the rule from a principle standpoint, but some lower level teams are going to get plucked big time.

Even the grad transfer market has changed in recently years. You have so many kids that enroll early into college now a days they’re graduating academically within three years while they still have two years of athletic eligibility left.

The pandemic has even added a temporary wrinkle with the eligibility clock freezing. You had fifth year guys this year given a sixth year of eligibility for next year.

It’s been rough for the middle & bottom of college athletics these days. But in terms of the ultimate goal in college football this has been a sport where even at the top the gap between Alabama & Clemson has been noticeable to the next tiers in the last decade.

Locally a school like Temple that’s done a good job of developing up lower ranked recruits into NFL prospects have seen some of their grad transfers picked off by P5 schools recently. It could get worse for a school like that.

Dan Mullen's weirdness definitely cost him the best TE on the transfer market, a mere 30 days after putting a TE in the top five of the draft... @FLYguy3911.

There's a wild story with a VT freshman being arrested for murder. Seems there is a dude who catfishes young men and victimizes them and he finally did it to someone able to easily beat him to death.

It's a situation where the more you dig in the worse the "victim" looks. People have recognized him as a regular at some bars, and those bars have had issues with men getting roofied drinks. Interesting correlation there.
