Nebraska would never do it because the money is too good in BigTen, but I would like to see them go back to the Big 12 and re-establish themselves as top program.

Big12 too unstable to take that risk.

If Nebraska came home and they lured Cincy or Houston and you basically have a net swap of:

Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, A&M, and Mizzou out

TCU, Cincy, Houston, and West Virginia in (with Nebraska returning)

The conference is less prestigious but a lot more stable and built to last. Texas is a giant poison pill. Perhaps the SEC is finally a large enough institution to dilute that.

Those swaps are a massive downgrade over the prior version of the Big 12 that Nebraska departed from to join the Big Ten.

Nebraska would be effectively cutting their conference revenue in half if they moved back.

Agreed, but I was writing from the perspective of a devalued Big 12, which is still a better Big 12 than one that doesn't exist.

Houston is not welcome in the Big 12 unless some kiss and makeup happens . During the last round of Big 12 expansion talks. Tilman Fertitta called the entire process a sham.

Guess it was smart to graduate early from HS?

He signed on with a big program with 3 other highly rated QBs who are all within 1 year of eligibility among them. Figure 2 will transfer out at the end of the season.
So this kid managed to get all of his courses completed a year early? Impressive.

lol these takes about Texas being a giant poison pill is hilarious. Them and OU are the only reason why the big 12 has stayed afloat. even with Texas being down.

Also the "Texas and OU aren't prepared for the SEC" takes are also ridiculous, Texas has been down for a better part of the decade and in the last couple of years when they've faced SEC programs, they've either won or held their own. Let's not act like SEC isn't just Bama and one other good team on a year to year basis. OU would've consistently been the second best team in that conference and this year probably the first.

Washington State coach Nick Rolovich sued by ex-player Kassidy Woods

In his lawsuit, Woods described a culture of covering up COVID issues. Woods said he has sickle cell trait, which heightened his risk from exposure to the virus.

“Not only were athletes already testing positive for COVID-19 without notification to other players, Woods’ own roommate had been exposed just two days prior to Woods’ arrival on campus,” the lawsuit states. “Woods’ roommate indicated to Woods that roughly 10 football players had tested positive at that time. His roommate felt that Woods should know about the positive cases even though Defendants strictly ordered the players to keep silent to the media and others — including players who had not yet reported back to Pullman — regarding positive COVID-19 cases that were occurring within the program.”
