Suns get swept out of the playoffs
They traded us pick swaps in 24 26 28 and 30. This could be huge if they ever bottom out. Sounds like KD already wants out again.
That was awesome. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer douche owner (Ishbia), who was basically the guy who acquired Durant and Beal. He blew up the team because he “knows a little something” about basketball. He is VERY involved.

Stupid prick. The team has no future, like, at all. They have their 2024 draft pick (which will be in the 20’s), and zero cap space. They don’t have any other picks (save their 2nd one year) until 2031. They are now part of “Apron 2” of the salary cap, so they are very limited in what they are allowed to do.

They *cannot* sign any FA’s above the vet minimum (they *can* sign their own — Royce O’Neale — but if he leaves, they cannot replace him). They had TEN guys on vet minimums this past year, and we saw how that worked out 😂😂.

They *cannot* bundle salaries together to get a better player via trade.

They *cannot* use their 6.5m trade exemption.

They *cannot* trade their 2024 pick, to try and get a better player.

They *cannot* trade away salary unless they take back the same amount (or less) as a one for one deal.

They basically have to run it back, with the same cast (means they really have to resign O’Neale, who they traded for at the last deadline. He’s making 9m now, so even if they give him a small bump to 10m a season, it has disastrous effects on their cap = 55m in added luxury taxes!). The same cast that got swept by the 3rd seed in the west. Wasn’t even a top 2 seed!

They are totally f***ed, and it couldn’t happen to a nicer Douche. I love it!!!

The picks swaps could be a masterpiece of business by Winger and Dawkins. The Suns have one of the bleakest futures in the league and Ishiba is a gigantic dickhead who will make sure no stone is unturned when it comes to making poor decisions.

Helps make up for how brutal the Jordan Poole trade looks, though he did improve and it’ll be interesting to see if a real coach can unlock his potential on a more consistent basis.

Did he though? Based on stat line from last season vs this….some ups and downs….dude is still only 24 about to turn 25. Hope he develops more to trade him off….

Poole stats before and after the coach was fired were damning. I also give him props after the firing coming off the bench however when he came in they let him be the primary ball handler and he just looked a lot better.

He was one of the worst defensive players in the league and had terrible offensive efficiency numbers the first part of the season but improved once Wes was fired, as usiel noted.

I think the hope for Poole was he would put up empty stats on a bad team and make him self a nice trade chip. But looks like one of the worst contracts in the league, But still better then Beals so ill take it lol

Yeah was strictly referring to offensive numbers. He plays defense like Agent Zero...not very good.

You could just said “he plays ZERO defense”. That would’ve worked too.

Poole sucks. I will be happy when he’s someone else’s problem.

Speaking of happy — nice to see the Orioles take 3/4 from the Evil Empire (Yankees). Took them from one game back to one game ahead.

I loved it!!

More and more interesting….now Woods didn’t want Rory to return to the PGA TP Board….and reports their relationship “has soured”…..

I’d be wary of siding with Cantlay and that’s where Woods and Spieth appear to be at….
