Im thinking Stas and Wheels will be working for the Jets long after their playing days are over. That kind of culture is a good thing. Very happy he re-signed
Honestly, I thought they would only go after one big D, so I wanted Hamilton. It seems to be the Jets strategy is that if we can’t get a 1D like Hamilton then get more 2Ds
lmao @ us shitting on Nate Schmidt in the trade thread just a few hours ago.
WTF? I don't want him here because he blocked two trade attempts, one only a few days ago, before apparently relenting.
Whatever
Schmidt accepting a trade to Winnipeg
Pretty funny that he waived after all of this haha.
Okay we have a pretty staked left side. Who moves to the right?
What!Honestly I would look into if there are any takers for that Morrissey contract now. Nate can fill that hole on the top pairing. If anyone is willing to bite on Morrissey we should evaluate that with Dillon and Schmidt coming in. If Josh has another bad year he might be an unmovable contract. Move it while you can is what I say now that we have options on the left side.
Or maybe now that jomo doesn’t have to carry so much he can return to his old form when his contract was seen as a steal?Honestly I would look into if there are any takers for that Morrissey contract now. Doubt he beats out Morissey or Pionk for a pp spot.Congrats to Jets your getting a good player that wasn't utilized properly in Vancouver. He has a lot of skill and will look great on your PP and top pairing moving the puck. Good luck to you guys and Schmidt.
hell no, both pionk and jomo needed partnersi wonder if jets regret the dillon trade now? they were after schmidt but he woudnt waive...so maybe they settled for dillon? schmidt has a pretty hefty contract too... looks like the jets 4th line will be full of scrubs
No I think they like having good defenseman like when we took our only real run at a cup.i wonder if jets regret the dillon trade now? they were after schmidt but he woudnt waive...so maybe they settled for dillon? schmidt has a pretty hefty contract too... looks like the jets 4th line will be full of scrubs
