Near where sand and waves meet.
This team keeps putting daggers in the hearts of the fans who give up on the squad every season. No season .. few games ... are easy. If you bail it says a lot and I'm personally glad some of you never soiled by profession.

The only players that had a slow start to the game that didn't turn it around in the second then completely redeem themselves by the end of the game were Barrie and Beauvillier.

We should see them both replaced next game...

Beauvillier was a -3 and had exactly two shifts in the third period. The third goal was scored by the Zucker- Janko- Forsberg line because the coaches were trying to avoid Beauvillier.

Barrie did manage to be a blank on the plus minus chart but had some very weak shifts including the failed clear leading to the third goal against. (Oddly enough he just so happened to be on the ice for the third goal for referenced above.) He might stay in the lineup if no one is healthy enough to come back in but clearly the coaches weren't happy with him, only giving him 4 even strength shifts in the third.

Gotta hand it to the coaches here, that line shake up was a spark that helped create the late surge. The shifts before the third goal were, top line, Novak-Sissons-Evangelista, then the line that scored (9-17-16). It was a nice push that overwhelmed Vegas for two reasons, first all of those players were making things happen with their feet, and second because there was confusion by the defense as far as line assignments. The delay of game PP and score right after were just the cherry on top.

Bruno showing his moxy in making changes that work and not just to make a change willy nilly. It was stated on TV that the Preds tried playing the Vegas way in the first and got beat for 3 goals. That is NOT the Preds way of playing. They started playing the Preds way and the comeback was on!

Fun little graph. Can you guess which line is the Preds?
