Bunch of guys in Preds gear jumped on him till it was diffused. Definitely blood, arrests. Ugly.

Booze clearly involved. Don't condone Preds fans actions, but largely self defense/helping. Hated to see it.

This is pretty spot on. I heard clapping below and looked as they were escorting the SJ girlfriend out of the section. The SJ boyfriend was allowed to stay in his seat as he and Shea Weber 3rd start yelling at one another from about six rows apart. Shea Weber 3rd says, "come on", so SJ bf goes down there and swings over Shea's head. Then of course they're going at it and dude in yellow tries to break it up. Yella fella doesn't like SJ bf getting mad at him for trying to break it up so he pushes SJ bf down the steps...hard. SJ bf is going to have a bruised back or ribs for sure. SJ bf gets up and goes back at with Shea and punches him a few times before a lot of people step in. The ushers finally show up and take SJ bf away.

The ushers were very slow to react after they took SJ gf away. Shea Weber 3rd and SJ bf were yelling at each other for almost 30 seconds before fighting. Everybody knew what was going to happen but the ushers were mia.

Wow. This all happened right in front of me, I was in that section! It was intense. Sharks fan was running his mouth and then took a swing and missed. Then he was jumped by about 4-5 preds fans. It was pretty funny. I was pissed when I realized I didn't get my phone out. :(

Hell, even the players were watching it. I was rolling at Niemi staring at them fighting.

The "Hey, What About Me?" Guy

This dude just starts yelling and banging on the glass during warm-ups to any player that's close to him. "Hey, what about me? Weber...Weber...what about me?"

Mason then goes over and is standing there so they guy starts in on him. Finally, Mason turns around and the guy is like, "what about me?" Mason just looks at him and turns back around.

I just posted my view on the Sharks board:

In case you haven't heard, there was a brawl right in front of me tonight. Sharks fan and his girl were running their mouths and flipping people off and even right to their faces. Probably drunk I assume. Well the girl gets escorted out and while all the security is busy with her, the Sharks fan goes down to challenge a preds fan who was yapping back at him. Sharks fan throw first punch and misses big time then all hell breaks loose. Sharks fan didn't stand a chance but I was amused as a Preds fan. This lasted for a good 1-2 minutes because security was still probably with "her" out in the concourse before they realized all hell was breaking loose because half the arena was standing and screaming (literally). I really laughed when the faceoff was back in our zone and right where the fight was going on and I saw Niemi with his mask off and all the players on both teams just watching the fight. Finally they broke it up and dragged the sharks fan up the stairs and he still tried swinging at a Preds fan on the way up. Not gonna be a good night for him.

Sorry for the drawn out response, but it was intense.

Last one for the night, this was basically Antti Niemi during the entire first period. Just hanging out in front of the net watching the game. First period was terrible. Felt like we had five d-men on the ice and the period was one long PK.



Finally though, we won!

Other than the brawl, I was actually very entertained in this game after the 1st period. We really started to turn things up late in the 2nd and the 3rd. Too many damn penalties but held on. The 3rd and OT were very exciting. So glad I went. Now I'm 1-2 so far in attendance.

Hulse looked good, glad to see him doing well.

Didn't really notice the brawl while watching the game.

Sweet pass by Ellis for that OT GWG. Sharks are brutal in February.

Take those 2 points and move on!

my son and I stood next to him during warm-ups, he was ummmmm different.

The girl to his right though gave Nick the puck Weber flipped over the glass, made my son's night.

Ran into the Predators Fan who got swung on at Honkey Tonk after the game. He was not arrested and said he didnt want to be "that guy" hah. Still took a picture with the guy. The funny thing is we ran into the Shark fan later on at an On the Go gas station and he was not arrested either. He actually seemed like a pretty cool guy. Took a picture with him too hah.
