Name the players on your team who are likely to be available by the deadline? And what do you think you'll get in return?
What would you offer for Allen (50%) this year and next year?Any of our goalies for better goalies. Who says no?
Good luck with that because I believe several teams are looking for the same thing (Boston, Colorado,New Jersey, New York, Winnipeg, Vancouver...). The auctions will drive up prices.no one but we have a 1st and prospects like Cowan and Minten for higher end rentals
need steady top 4 RHD and hopefully a low end 2nd line C to play 3c
really Tanev and Lindholm is exactly what we need.
yup, I think thats why Lubshkin keeps popping up.Good luck with that because I believe several teams are looking for the same thing (Boston, Colorado,New Jersey, New York, Winnipeg, Vancouver...). The auctions will drive up prices.
Pearson and Armia have 0 value, maybe Pearson retained at 50 for a 7th rounder.For the Habs:
Monahan: a first or a second + B prospect( ideally a forward/ center)
Savard: a first or a second + B prospect( ideally a RD)
Allen: a Third round pick
Pearson: a fourth or fifth round pick
Armia: a fourth round pick
Retention is possible with all these players

Savard = 3rd round pick
Monahan = 2nd rounder + a low ceiling prospect
Highly unlikely anyone trades their 1st for Monahan. They might as well be going for Lindholm (despite
the lower point totals he’s the better player).
There are quite a few teams in playoff positions that have better trade chips than that.no one but we have a 1st and prospects like Cowan and Minten for higher end rentals
and how many are willing to deal their top prospects?There are quite a few teams in playoff positions that have better trade chips than that.
and how many are willing to deal their top prospects?
my point is Cowan and Minten are on par with the level of prospects the vast majority of buyers would be willing to moveBeing a top prospect for a team with a mediocre to subpar prospect group doesn't give you value.
Fair enough.my point is Cowan and Minten are on par with the level of prospects the vast majority of buyers would be willing to move
Well, not the Leafs by all accounts...and how many are willing to deal their top prospects?
If we're purely talking "available," the only names not on that list are likely Michkov, Tippett because of the big extension, Ersson, Foerster, Drysdale, Bonk, and York. Anyone else is likely available at the right price, the question then becomes whether the offers meet that price. That said, Alex highlighted the priority names here.
