Luca Cereda. Not sure if counts considering he never played a game. Diagnosed with a congenital heart defect months after the leafs took him 24th overall in the 1999 draft.

If he doesn’t meet the criteria I’ll throw Danny Markovs name out there.

Admittedly I did not read the whole thread so sorry if they’ve been mentioned

Tim Connolly

Played 1 season. Not terrible 13 goals 23 assists for 36 points in 70 games.

A lot of fans from this board were pretty hard on him.

What do you remember about him? Injuries?

Simon Gamache.

One of those small guys that just couldn't cut it after tearing up junior. Had 184 points in his final season in the Q and produced well in the AHL and Europe.

If he had started his career sometime in the last 5-7 years I think we would have seen a decent NHL career from him.
