On top of being a very good live band. A lot of new wave owes them a bow of honour. Talking Heads esp. They are a lot more punk than many 'punk' bands. AT least their early stuff and the message they are putting out.
I always liked Whip it as a kid, even as a metalhead. However as I have gotten old(er?) I appreciate them a lot more.

It should be pronounced De Evo or D. E-voh. It means De Evolution which they feel humans are doing given our behavior.
Under rated band. Girl U Want and Uncontrollable Urge might be more familiar to some. (I personally like Gut Feeling, Blockhead and Mongoloid)

I once went to a place called that but it was a strip joint in Stockholm. I was thrown out after suggesting one of the strippers should take dancing lessons.
