Learning to fly, the Pink Floyd way
Wow, now it's 1987 and I'm cruising with my friend in her Trans Am, listening to this tune.
Am huge Petty fan. Have been since around 88 or so. Always listened to him, he was massive on radio, but I fell in...what? not love. Maybe awe? Saw him in concert a ton of times from then on. Fortunate to see him on tour in his last year, maybe four months before he passed away.
Thought this was a very nice cover. Was supposed to see these guys on March 18 2020. Didn't happen, much to my dismay.
Lots of Queen on the previous page but not this one? Shame on y'all. Probably my favorite Queen song. Stunning musicianship and of course the vocal are non pareil. Lead? Wow. So much energy.
Bluegrass and hip hop. Makes all the sense in the world, right? Maybe not, but give it a shot. Don't think any of them see color, they just enjoy.
