Could have sworn we had a thread on this but HF search can't seem to find it.
Disney is so lazy.
Especially with this movie catering to the strong asian market and all. Usually don't approve of these remakes but this one actually looks interestingMaybe, but they're not going to change with the amount of money they're making.
That looked intriguing. Love the visuals and music.
I like that this one is more realistic and doesn't have the songs or the dragon. I don't imagine that many people can even sing a verse from one of the songs or quote Mushu from memory, anyways. The lack of the sillier and fantastical elements gives it more of an historical epic feeling and changes up they're doing with these live action remakes, which I think is a good thing. I can understand how many will be disappointed, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a huge hit at the box office.
We better get updated covers of "Reflection" by Christina Aguilera.
No dragons or singing. Only instrumental versions.

It's crazy how much money they are making when almost every month they release these live-action versions of their animations or a Marvel movie.
The big note here is that it's a real life Asian movie by Disney which is going to haul in mad money in China. It is crazy, but it shows there is clearly a large market for this stuff.
I mean, Aladdin has made $923 million!
