I really doubt a 4th line winger was a significant part of the Flyers problems. Did he sabotage the Flyer's players skates?

While he is a 4th line player, our glorious ex-coach did not use him as such. For instance, he was getting more ice-time on the 2nd line than Oskar Lindblom for most of the season

2015-2016 Price played 12 games. Season did not go too well: 82 pts, dnq, used 5 goalies.
Last year Price played 49. Even worse: dnq, 71 pts
Injuries do matter.

Again, he is a AHL replacement D for Phil Myers who we just recalled. I don't think Schlrmko ever plays for Philly.

And sure, enjoy Weise and that presence. The a Flyers are 8-0-1 since waiving Weise. We don't miss his long face.

Exactly, 7 goalies wasn't a choice, it was necessity. Elliott got hurt and Neuvirth was backing up. Stolie started on the injured list. Then Lyon was about to get called up when Elliott got hurt, and he got hurt in the AHL. So we had to grab Pickard off waivers. He was crap so when one came back, he was gone. Then McKenna, same thing. Finally, in desperation the accelerated Hart's call up. Turned out to be not such a bad idea. Stolarz is finally healthy too and playing great. Elliott could get waived when he's healthy, or traded as 3rd vet depth to a team hoping for a run. Toronto needs someone like him, for example.
