Waiving your NTC so you can get dealt to a contender and ending up in Montreal is like saying you want to win and signing with Buffalo.

Habs have something like 91 picks in the draft this year, but would probably need to send out some salary as well. Unless Chiarot being out for essentially the rest of the regular season would create enough room for the deal to work

We have 2 2nds and 3 3rds. But over the past 3 years have like 40+ picks and 14 still this year. So we definitely have draft capital to burn.
